Madison Copeland has capped an incredible 2019 U19 Women's Lacrosse World Championship by being the lone Australian selected to the 2019 U19 All-World team joining 5 Americans, 2 Canadians as well as players from Japan and England.

Copeland had an incredible tourament which started with a hat trick against the USA. Playing predominantly out of the draw, Copeland was consistently a threat on the offensive end, scoring an incredible 15 goals from only 23 shots with only 1 of those missing the cage completely. Her cutting and ability to find room were elite as well her ability to finish with precision.

In the draw's, Copeland went 36 - 84 for the tournament but led the team with 13 draw controls as she took on the heavyweights from the USA in particular.

In transition and in defence, Copeland also figured heavily. Her athleticism on defence was superb leading the team with 7 caused turnovers.

As mentioned above, Copeland starred on opening day, scoring 3 of Australia's 4 goals against the USA but her biggest performance came when her side needed it the most, scoring 4 goals of Australia's 8 to see off Japan in the quarter final, setting the scene for the teams Bronze medal.

In a team full or rising Australian superstars, Copeland's star undoubtedly shined the brightest and she was a very deserved member of the 2019 U19 All-World team.
