Once again, our Junior Wind Up was run by the LWA Junior Lacrosse Council this year and hosted by Wembley Lacrosse Club.  An exciting night for our lacrosse players of the future; there were games and competitions run by the JLC and Australian representatives before the Fairest and Best accolades were handed out.  ALA’s Director of Coaching, Glenn Morley, was MC for the night.

With the girls only having one grade in the Junior Division, Phoenix Lacrosse Club’s Libby Blair took the honours with Subiaco’s Isla Carr Runner Up.  Both girls followed up this success winning MVP’s at the U15’s last week.  The 13’s should have been no surprise, being undefeated for two seasons, East Fremantle’s Riley Mercer won Fairest and Best with Phoenix making another showing with Runner up Nick Brothers.

Wembley’s Lucas Koczwara did one better than last year and won fairest and Best from East Fremantle’s Ryan Hockey.  Wembley dominated again with Brayden Panting winning the 17’s trophy for a second year in a row from Bayswater’s Logan Hellmrich.

Our Junior umpires and referees were also acknowledge along with the JLC's Grant Moir, for the tremendous amount of time and work he has put into the development of Junior lacrosse over the past three years.
